Two students from SM Ken Hwa here were among the top 50 students in the Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) examination last year. Umi Kelathum Abdul Ghani who will be 21 on May 1 this year, passed with five principles. She obtained an A in Pengajian Am, History and Business Study, a B in Bahasa Malaysia and a C in Economy. Her school mate Raymond Yapp Tze Loong, 20, scored an A in Mathematics and Physics and Bs in Pengajian Am and Chemistry. SM Ken Hwa principal Ng Kah Ghor described Umi and William as students who are not only academically dedicated but also active in the school’s co-curriculum.
